What Is SOAP?
SOAP is a simple 4-step Bible study method that helps you reflect on Scripture and apply it to your life. Here’s what each letter means:
- S – Scripture: Write down a Bible verse that stands out to you.
- O – Observation: What is happening in the verse? Who is it talking about? What stands out?
- A – Application: How does this apply to your life right now? What can you learn or do?
- P – Prayer: Talk to God about what you’ve read. Ask Him to help you live it out.
This method keeps things simple but powerful — it helps you not just read the Bible but live it.
