Why do women always assume that men want socks and underwear as Christmas presents? Most men don’t care about underwear and even less care about socks. So what do men really want for Christmas presents?
Apart from the fact that everyone is different, and all men have different hobbies and interests, there is generally one thing that gets us men excited…gadgets! It’s rare to find a man these days that doesn’t like a new gadget to play with, even if he doesn’t really understand how to use it properly. It feels good to hold one of the latest gadgets and feel young again, after all, that’s what it’s really all about at the end of the day.
The great thing about modern gadgets is that you don’t necessarily have to spend a lot of money on them. You don’t have to go all out and buy the top of the range PlayStation 3 with all the accessories, or the latest iPod touch. There are plenty of low cost gadgets that will do the trick. Gadgets, like the new Rubix 360, which are a puzzle needing to be solved are probably the best types of presents as they can keep a man’s brain occupied for days!
Just take a look at gadgetshop.com as an example. The “MSN Webcam Missile Launcher” has to be a certain hit with any man with a PC. Or the “Lav Nav” to help him pee in the dark. Or the “Wi-Fi Detector T-shirt”? There are hundreds of ideas on that website alone and the great thing is that most of the gadgets on there are relatively cheap to buy.
There really is no excuse these days for not knowing what to buy your man for Christmas. We men are quite easily pleased and there are plenty of these fun gadgets out there that you don’t need to resort to buying us underwear and socks. You can afford to be a bit more imaginative these days.
The fact that these gadgets are different and unusual means that they will keep our little brains happy for another year.
